ABCB appoint new CEO
The ABCB are pleased to advised that they have appointed Chris Auger as their new Chief Executive. Chris took up post on 14th April 2025 and is looking forward to working with the Management Committee and Board in the continued success of the Association.
Chris has significant experience in accreditation and certification, having worked for UKAS for a number of years. His recent experience has been within the fire sector and has been involved in the post-Grenfell competency working groups and sat on the Competency Steering Group and several British Standards committees.
Chris stated “I am delighted to have joined the ABCB at a time where accredited certification is playing an ever increasing role in the development of Standards and the competence of those certification bodies auditing to the requirements of the Standards”.
The ABCB Chair, Steve Russell added “I am delighted that someone with Chris’s knowledge and experience has joined the ABCB in this crucial role. I am certain that the association will go from strength to strength under Chris’s leadership”.
